Sometimes 1/2 of the hide is great and the other 1/2" will occasionally have a BRAND or a SOFT SPOT that we can't sell as first quality/Full price. Therefore we have decided to offer these BLEMISHED 1 1/2" belts at a huge discount, that means you get a great price on a belt with just a scar or soft spot, etc. Please know we don't offer a color choice since the availability varies.

Our THICK / leather belt is cut from whole hides of Bridle Leather then snapped and edge burnished in Smyrna, TN, just outside Nashville. It is a single strip of vegetable tanned Bridle leather will be 3/16" to 1/4" thick, Drum dyed in a deep reddish brown or Solid Black. Bridle leather is used for horse tack such as bridles and rein straps. It's similar to harness leathers which has tallows and oils which gives it a great feel and durability.
